Are you a founder/co-founder/C-suite leader of one of Sweden's fast growing tech companies? Do you have sound traction in Sweden/Nordics, are UK market ready and looking to raise capital in London? If so, this pitch competition event is for you.
What's the event?
On 16 May 14.30-17.30 + networking drinks, Tech Nordic Advocates are hosting a pitch competition event at KPMG, Stockholm.
The purpose of the pitch competition is to select 4 companies who will be offered a unique opportunity to pitch to London/UK/International investors live on stage 13 June 2024 at London Stock Exchange during London Tech Week.
What will the winners get?
The winners will be offered tickets to London Tech Week 10-14 June 2024 AND get to pitch to London/UK/international investors live on stage 13 June 2024 at London Stock Exchange - Tech Nordic Advocates' unique annual London Tech Week event.
Who should apply to pitch ?
Tech Nordic Advocates' mission is to support and help accelerate the growth and international expansion of any/all tech founders/startups/scaleups irrespective of gender, race, background or orientation.
To that end, and to promote diversity, this pitch competition will select 4 tech companies from Sweden to pitch to London/UK/international investors at London Stock Exchange, of which 2 will be led by female/non-binary founders/co-founders and 2 from any other demographic, incl. male founders/co-founders/C-suite leaders and/or founders/co-founders/C-suite leaders from other underrepresented groups than female/non-binary people.
What are selection criteria?
We invite applications from growth stage tech startups/scaleups registered in Sweden within the above demographics, who will be of interest to London/UK/international investors because you have:
- revenue in Sweden (and ideally one other Nordic country)
- demonstrated revenue growth and scaleup potential
- plans to expand to the UK or already operating in the UK
- capital raising and ready to fundraise in London
Who else will attend the pitch competition?
In addition to diverse capital raising tech sector companies ready to pitch to London/UK/international investors, the 16 May pitch competition event will be attended by investors, ecosystem leaders, partners and the wider tech startup ecosystem, including judges representative of the wider tech startup ecosystem.
